Healthy Beetle is a consumer nutrition and fitness service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a healthcare provider’s designated medical-record system.
These Terms govern your access to and use of Healthy Beetle’s website, applications, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
Healthy Beetle provides tools for nutrition, meal, exercise, hydration, weight, body-measurement, goal, and optional health-marker tracking. It may also provide AI-assisted food, menu, recipe, exercise, and educational features. Features may change as the Service develops.
You may choose to enter laboratory results and other health markers. This feature is optional. Healthy Beetle is a consumer service and is not offered as a healthcare provider’s designated medical-record system. Information entered directly into a consumer service may not be protected by HIPAA, although other privacy and security protections may apply.
Before saving your first health-marker entry, you will receive a specific privacy notice and be asked to acknowledge the collection and processing described there. Additional permission is required before Healthy Beetle automatically includes recent lipid results in a relevant Nutrition Assistant request.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Healthy Beetle a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to submit the content.
Paid features, prices, trial terms, renewal dates, and cancellation options are presented during purchase or subscription management. Payments may be processed by Stripe or an applicable app store. You authorize the applicable provider to charge the selected payment method according to the displayed terms.
You agree not to:
Our Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use and disclose it, optional health-data controls, retention, security practices, and your choices. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, impose reasonable usage limits, or perform maintenance. When practical, we will provide notice of a material change that substantially affects paid functionality.
You may delete your account through Profile settings. We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms, threats to the Service or other users, nonpayment, or when required by law. Data handling following deletion or termination is described in the Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Healthy Beetle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, arising from use of the Service. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not waive Healthy Beetle’s privacy, security, or breach-notification obligations under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Healthy Beetle against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit that violates another person’s rights. This section does not require you to indemnify Healthy Beetle for its own unlawful conduct.
We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. When required, we will request renewed acceptance.
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our consent. Applicable law governs these Terms without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live.
